Tools

Figma, Framer, Maze, Notion

Designed a wellness app that adapts its experience to users' emotional states using biometric signals and behavioural patterns — making every session feel personally calibrated.

The Problem

Wellness apps have a chronic churn problem because the experience is static. Users in different emotional states need fundamentally different interactions, but most apps don't adapt.

Process

01

Diary Studies

20 participants tracked their emotional state and app usage over 2 weeks. Identified 6 distinct usage patterns tied to emotional context.

02

Adaptive Interfaces

Designed 3 experience modes (calm, active, low-energy) that each adjust layout density, animation speed, and content priority.

03

Notification System

Designed an intelligent notification system that learns from dismissal patterns. Built decision trees for timing and content selection.

04

Longitudinal Testing

Ran a 30-day cohort study with 40 users. Measured retention, engagement, and self-reported wellbeing weekly.
